About us
DesignNotes and StudioOne are run by Gil Gillian. Gil has worked within music and arts for many years. He is an experienced musician, manager, arranger and producer. Gil studied at Bath University and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. He plays jazz and blues piano, and has written and produced music for film and video.
Every job is important, and benefits from close attention to the detail of all aspects of the recording and production process.

Whether you are looking for a project studio to write and record your latest composition, on location audio or video recording, interim management or arts consultancy, we hope you will the site useful. We are always on hand to offer friendly help and advice and good coffee.
Location
We are situated within the picturesque village of Marshfield on the southern edge of the Cotswolds, ideally located for Bath, Bristol, Swindon, M4 and M5 corridors, and the south west.
Marshfield itself offers two friendly pubs, good local shops and amenities, and a wide selection of places to stay.
